True Value Marketing Services Private Limited (TVM) is one of the leaders in the premixed beverages in the institutional channel. Despite competing with likes of HUL, Nestle and other giants the company has evolved into a leader in this segment. The company always had a desire to venture into the retail business and create a brand.
When we got in touch with TVM they were not very clear on how to enter the market. We worked with them and presented them the plan to which they agreed. Sharp Consulting and Implementing Company (SCIC) is now engaged in creating the brand Granules and Beans (A brand owned by TVM).

Breaking the clutter
While the market leader was priced at Rs 140, we entered at a price of Rs 160 for the similar configuration. Our strategy was crystal clear. This was followed by a strong marketing campaign which was directly addressing the emotional need of the consumer.
We had made the plan; this makes us one of the most suitable people to implement it. We created the entire system and then hired the team. Granules and Beans is now launched. We are using our technique in creating demand from stores. Today we have a strong presence in selected stores, where the sales are driven by the good recall from the customers.
